The governments of Indonesia and South Africa will discuss in aviation cooperation to expand the elations between the two countries.
President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono made the remark in a press conference at Mount Nelson Hotel, Capetown, South Africa, on Sunday afternoon.
"We wish for a concrete aviation cooperation between our two countries. Tomorrow I will raise the matter with President Thabo Mbeki," he said.
The president said the cooperation will improve the economy of the two countries. He took as example the great number of Indonesians living in Capetown because of the arrival of Syeik Yusuf, a hero in South Africa.
The president said 26 top South African figures are of Indonesian descent and one of them is Western Cape Governor Ibrahim Rassol whose ancesters came from Sleman.
